Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible, and nothing from children.
Last updated 11 October 2026
The short version
- We never ask children for personal details. Children's first names typed on the site stay on your device unless you save them to your account.
- For an account we keep the parent's or teacher's email and the first names and age groups they add.
- We do not sell personal data and we show no adverts from other companies.
What we collect
- Account: email address, and optionally your children's first names and age groups.
- Payments: handled by Razorpay (India) and Stripe (other countries). We receive a payment reference, the product and the amount, never your card or UPI details.
- Classes: teachers create classes; pupils join with a class code and a first name only. We store which puzzles each pupil solved and their stars, so the teacher can see progress.
- Feedback: reviews, ratings and messages you send, with your first name and country if you choose to give them.
- On your device: stars, stamps, badges and the child's name for the Passport and previews are kept in your browser's local storage.
Why we use it
To log you in, deliver what you paid for, send the Friday packs and renewal reminders, show teachers their class progress, and improve the puzzles. We send marketing emails only if you sign up for them, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Children's privacy
Accounts are for adults. A parent or teacher decides whether to add a child's first name. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act: we collect no personal data directly from children, and parents can see or delete their children's details at any time from the account page.
Advertising
We do not show adverts from other companies and we do not track or profile visitors for advertising. Some free pages have a small box with MyAmazeLand’s own offers, such as free puzzle packs and membership. It never appears in games, the Friday pack or printed sheets, and members never see it. If we ever add outside advertising, we will update this policy first, and any such ads would be non-personalised and filtered for a young audience, with no tracking of children.
Where it is stored
Our site and database run on Cloudflare. Emails are sent through our email provider. Data may be processed outside India by these providers under their security terms.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of you closing it, except payment records we must keep by law.
Your choices
You can view, correct, download or delete your data from your account page, or by writing to [email protected]. Grievance contact: [email protected].
